These works were created in a variety of informal circumstances. The collages were made during a two-day Collage Party organized by Paul Butler at Tunnelwood Ranch, my farm in Manitoba. The three "Captain French" drawings were made for a fundraising show at Platform Gallery in Winnipeg while I was working on larger encaustic works for The Treaty 3 Suite. The other watercolours are from an ongoing series of water colors that I always make when I am on holidays.
